Registration is managed through the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE). UAE nationals and residents apply through licensed الحج operators. Requirements include valid passport or Emirates ID, vaccination certificates, and medical fitness report for elderly الحجاج.
Licensed الحج operators are authorized by GAIAE. The authority publishes approved companies annually. Premium packages from UAE operators often include 5-star accommodation close to the Haram.
Many UAE residents opt for overland travel by bus (approximately 16 hours from Dubai to مكة). The UAE government provides subsidized packages for Emirati citizens. Residents must have a valid residence visa that extends beyond الحج dates. Pre-الحج health screening camps are organized across emirates.
