Yes, الإحرامOS is built with an offline-first architecture specifically because cellular networks become unreliable during الحج when over two million الحجاج overwhelm local infrastructure. All core features including ritual guidance, the complete دعاء library with audio playback, الطواف counter, السعي counter, الصلاة time calculations, القبلة compass, الطوارئ contacts, your medical card, and الحج journal work entirely without internet.

Before your trip, الإحرامOS prompts you to download all content and offline map tiles while connected to WiFi. This one-time download stores everything locally on your device using an embedded SQLite database. During your الحج, all data reads and writes happen locally first. When connectivity returns, the app automatically syncs pending data in the background.

The only features that require internet are the AI chatbot, live group location sharing, weather updates, and community feed. The SOS الطوارئ button queues an SMS if no data connection is available, sending it automatically when connectivity returns.
