This is when the Mataf area is most spacious, the marble is cooler, and the spiritual atmosphere is particularly serene. The period immediately after Fajr until about 7-8 AM also tends to be relatively quiet.
During the daytime, the early afternoon period around Dhuhr الصلاة tends to be less crowded because the extreme الحرارة (often 45-50°C during الحج season) deters many الحجاج. However, be prepared for very hot marble surfaces and intense sun exposure. The most congested times are typically after Asr الصلاة through Maghrib, when temperatures cool and large groups arrive. Friday (Jumu'ah) is consistently the busiest day of the week.
