Shorten 4-ركعة الصلوات to 2 as a traveler, combine الصلوات at عرفة (Dhuhr+Asr) and مزدلفة (Maghrib+Isha), pray in tents at منى, and carry a الصلاة mat at all times.
The الصلاة obligations during الحج are the same for men and women. As a traveler, you shorten the 4-ركعة الصلوات (Dhuhr, Asr, and Isha) to 2 ركعةs each. Fajr (2 ركعةs) and Maghrib (3 ركعةs) are not shortened. The specific الصلاة combinations during الحج are: at عرفة, combine Dhuhr and Asr at Dhuhr time; at مزدلفة, combine Maghrib and Isha at Isha time.
During the days at منى, women typically pray in their tent camps. Women's sections are designated within the camp areas. Praying in congregation is مستحب but not واجب for women — if the crowd or circumstances make it difficult to reach the الصلاة area, praying individually in your tent is perfectly valid. Carry a compact, clean الصلاة mat at all times — you may need to pray in unexpected locations.
Menstruating women are completely exempted from الصلاة during their period and do NOT need to make up missed الصلوات. This is a mercy from Allah and should not cause guilt or distress. Menstruating women may still make دعاء, dhikr, and engage in remembrance of Allah throughout the الحج — they are only exempted from the formal salah and الطواف.
Practical tips: download a الصلاة time app or use الإحرامOS for accurate الصلاة times at each الحج location. Know the القبلةh direction at each site (it shifts as you move between locations). Wear clothing that allows comfortable prostration without adjustment issues. Keep a small الوضوء water bottle for performing ablution when facilities are distant. In extremely crowded situations, you may pray standing or sitting if prostration is not safely possible.
