On the 11th of ذو الحجة (first day of التشريق), الحجاج stone all three الجمرات pillars after Dhuhr الصلاة — starting with the small (Sughra), then the medium (Wusta), then the large (Aqabah) — throwing 7 pebbles at each, and making دعاء after the first two pillars.
Begin the day by praying Fajr in منى. You should have collected 21 pebbles (7 for each of the three الجمرات). Each pebble should be roughly the size of a chickpea or date seed. Wash the pebbles if needed. The time for stoning on this day begins after the sun passes its zenith (Dhuhr time) عند جمهور العلماء. Use the morning to rest, make dhikr, and recite القرآن while waiting for the جائز stoning time.
After Dhuhr, proceed to the الجمرات complex. Begin with the small pillar (الجمرات al-Sughra), which is the one closest to Masjid al-Khaif and farthest from مكة. Throw 7 pebbles, one at a time, saying 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar' with each throw. After completing the stoning, move to the right side away from the pillar, face the القبلةh, raise your hands, and make a lengthy دعاء. النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) would stand here for a long time supplicating.
These are the most frequent errors pilgrims make during this stage of Hajj.

Proceed to the middle pillar (الجمرات al-Wusta). Throw 7 pebbles one at a time, saying 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar' with each throw. After completing this stoning, again move to the left side, face the القبلةh, and make a lengthy دعاء with raised hands. النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also stood here for a long time making الدعاء.
Proceed to the large pillar (الجمرات al-Aqabah), the one closest to مكة. This is the same pillar you stoned on the 10th of ذو الحجة. Throw 7 pebbles one at a time, saying 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar' with each throw. After stoning the large pillar, depart immediately without stopping for دعاء. This is the السنة — النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did not stand to make دعاء after the large pillar.
After completing the stoning of all three الجمرات, return to your camp in منى. Spend the rest of the day in worship, rest, and reflection. It is واجب to spend the night in منى عند جمهور العلماء. Use this time to pray all five daily الصلوات at their proper times, recite القرآن, make dhikr, and prepare for the next day of stoning. Ensure you have enough pebbles for tomorrow (another 21 pebbles).
