Ji'ranah is a الميقات point approximately 25 km northeast of مكة, famous as the location where النبي Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) entered الإحرام for his العمرة after the Battle of Hunayn. Though farther than Taneem, performing العمرة from Ji'ranah carries special أهمية. Travel by taxi takes about 30-40 minutes.
Take a taxi (30-40 minutes, approximately 50-80 SAR) to Ji'ranah, located about 25 km northeast of مكة. Ji'ranah holds historical أهمية as where النبي divided the spoils of Hunayn and entered الإحرام for العمرة.
Visit Masjid al-Ji'ranah where النبي entered الإحرام. Perform الغسل or الوضوء, and change into الإحرام garments (men). Pray two ركعة.
Make the intention for العمرة: 'Labbayk Allahumma Umratan.' Begin the التلبية. Reflect on following in the footsteps of النبي.
