Maison du Hadj (Mali)
The Maison du Hadj manages Haji registration in partnership with licensed operators. Pilgrims register at regional Haji offices. Requirements include valid passport (6+ months), vaccination certificates (yellow fever, meningitis ACWY), medical examination, and registration fees.
Licensed Haji operators register with the Maison du Hadj. Both government-organized and private operator packages are available. The Maison du Hadj website and offices provide the list of approved companies for each season.
Mali follows the Maliki school of jurisprudence. French and Bambara are the primary languages — jamaah haji should prepare for Arabic-language environments. Mali has a strong tradition of communal Haji savings groups (tontines) to fund ibadah haji. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for all travelers.
