الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say when he finished his food: 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana Muslimin.'
The doa after eating is: 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana Muslimin' — All praise is for Allah Who has fed us, given us drink, and made us Muslims. Another version is: 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah.'
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana Muslimin.
Meaning: All praise is for Allah Who has fed us, given us drink, and made us Muslims.
Source: Sunan Abu Dawud #3850Nabi (shallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: 'Allah is pleased with a servant who eats food and praises Him for it, or drinks a drink and praises Him for it.' (Sahih Muslim 2734). Saying doa ini after meals is an easy way to earn Allah's pleasure and express gratitude for the blessing of sustenance.
