After completing Tawaf, pray two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim, reciting the verse: 'Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla' — Take the station of Ibrahim as a place of shalat. In the first rak'ah recite Surah Al-Kafirun and in the second recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, following Nabi's Sunnah.
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
Meaning: And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of shalat.
Source: Al-Baqarah (2:125)Jabir reported in his description of Nabi's Haji: 'When Nabi (shallallahu alaihi wa sallam) completed Tawaf, he came to Maqam Ibrahim and recited: Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla. He then prayed two rak'ahs with Maqam Ibrahim between him and the Kabah, reciting Surah Al-Kafirun and Surah Al-Ikhlas.' (Sahih Muslim 1218). This shalat at Maqam Ibrahim connects the jamaah haji directly to the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim.
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.
