At Fajr in Muzdalifah, pray Fajr at its earliest time, then stand facing the Qiblah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram making doa until the sky brightens. The Al-Quran commands: 'Remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram' (2:198).
Fadhkurullaha 'indal-Mash'aril-Haram.
Meaning: Then remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram. And remember Him as He has guided you, for indeed, you were before that among those astray.
Source: Al-Baqarah (2:198)Standing at Muzdalifah after Fajr and making doa until the sky brightens is a Al-Quranic commandment (2:198). Nabi (shallallahu alaihi wa sallam) prayed Fajr at the earliest possible time, then stood at al-Mash'ar al-Haram making doa and dhikr, saying: 'I have stopped here, but all of Muzdalifah is a stopping place.' (Sahih Muslim 1218). He then departed before sunrise towards Mina, beginning the rituals of Yawm al-Nahr.
Then remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram.
