When the Prophet (peace be upon him) feared a people, he would say: 'Allahumma inna naj'aluka fi nuhurihim wa na'udhu bika min shururihim.'
The doa for travel anxiety is: 'Allahumma inna naj'aluka fi nuhurihim wa na'udhu bika min shururihim' — O Allah, we place You before them (as a shield) and we seek refuge in You from their evil. Doa ini seeks Allah's protection from all sources of fear and anxiety encountered during travel.
Meaning: O Allah, we place You before them (as a shield against them) and we seek refuge in You from their evil.
Source: Sunan Abu Dawud #1537Doa ini places Allah as a barrier and shield between the supplicant and any source of danger or fear. Nabi (shallallahu alaihi wa sallam) would recite it whenever he apprehended danger from any group or situation. It is a powerful doa for jamaah haji who may feel anxious about the journey, crowded conditions, or unfamiliar environments.
