Additional essentials include a digital thermometer, surgical face masks (N95 if possible — respiratory infections spread easily in crowds), alcohol-based hand sanitizer, electrolyte tablets or powder, eye drops for dust irritation, nasal saline spray, insect repellent, and a small cold pack that can be activated without refrigeration. Keep everything in a compact, waterproof pouch that fits easily in your day bag. Label all medications clearly in English and Arabic, and carry a medical card listing your blood type, allergies, chronic conditions, and darurat contacts.
