Masjid Quba is the first masjid ever built in Islam, constructed by Nabi upon his arrival in Madinah. Nabi used to visit every Saturday and pray two rak'ahs there. He also said: 'Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Quba and prays in it, he will have the reward of an Umrah.'
Masjid Quba is about 3.5 kilometers south of Nabi's Masjid, easily accessible by taxi, bus, or foot. The masjid has been expanded and modernized with beautiful white marble architecture and ample facilities.
