الملتزم
The Multazam is the approximately two-meter section of the Kabah wall between the Hajar Aswad (Hajar al-Aswad) and the Door of the Kabah. It is a place where doa-doa are believed to be especially accepted. Pilgrims press their chest, face, and hands against this wall while making doa.
The Multazam has been recognized as a place of accepted doa since the time of Nabi Muhammad (PBUH). Companions such as Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that the area between the corner of the Hajar Aswad and the door is the Multazam, and that no one makes doa there except that it is answered. Throughout Islamic history, scholars and jamaah haji have given special attention to this blessed spot.
The Multazam is considered one of the places where doa is most readily accepted. The act of clinging to this wall (iltizam) is a practice traced back to the Companions of Nabi (PBUH). It represents a moment of intense personal connection with Allah.
Accessing the Multazam directly can be very challenging during busy periods. The best time to reach it is during the last third of the night or just before Fajr. Press your chest, cheek, and palms against the wall and make your most heartfelt doa-doa. If you cannot physically reach the wall, face toward it and make doa from a distance, as sincerity is what matters most.
