Is it boleh to use medication to delay menstruation for Haji?

It is boleh for a woman to use medication to delay her menstrual cycle in order to perform Haji rituals without interruption, provided there is no medical harm. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen stated: 'There is no harm in a woman taking pills to prevent her period during Haji or Ramadhan, on condition that this does not harm her health, as confirmed by a trustworthy doctor.' Sheikh Ibn Baz held a similar view. However, if menstruation begins despite medication, the woman follows the rulings of menstruation during Haji.
