Packing for Hac as a woman requires balancing adequate supplies against the reality of moving between locations in crowded conditions. The golden rule: if in doubt, leave it out — essentials can be purchased in Mekke.
## Clothing Essentials
Pack 3-4 sets of ihram-appropriate clothing in breathable fabrics. Include at least two namaz outfits allowing easy abdest access. Bring one abaya. Pack 5-7 sets of undergarments. Bring 2-3 headscarves in dark colors. Pack one warm layer for air-conditioned spaces and Muzdelife nights.
## Footwear
Bring one pair of well-broken-in comfortable walking shoes and one pair of easy-on sandals for cami entry. Consider slip-resistant soles. Never bring new untested shoes. Pack blister plasters.
