Pilgrims from southern provinces (Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat) often have dedicated operators familiar with the Malay-speaking Muslim community. Always verify operator registration before making payments.

Thailand's Muslim community is concentrated in the southern border provinces and Bangkok. Most Thai Muslims speak Malay (Jawi) in addition to Thai, particularly in the south. Pre-departure Hac education courses are offered by provincial Islamic committees. Thai hacilar should note dietary requirements are well-accommodated in Saudi Arabia as halal food is standard. The Thai government provides subsidized Hac packages through the committee system. Currency exchange from Thai baht to Saudi riyal is best done at Bangkok banks before departure.
