Between the Yemeni Corner (Rukn al-Yamani) and the Hacer-ul Esved during Tavaf, hacilar recite: 'Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar' — O our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. This is from Kur'an 2:201.
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar.
Meaning: Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Source: Sunan Abu Dawud #1892Anas ibn Malik reported that Hz. Peygamber (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) used to frequently make bu dua. It is also a Kur'anic dua from Surah al-Baqarah (2:201), combining the best of this world and the Hereafter in a single comprehensive dua.
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say between the two corners (the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone): 'Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhab an-nar.'
