Prioritize the five daily namazs on time, add the 12 sunnah rawatib namazs, incorporate tahajjud gradually, and pray in congregation whenever possible — consistency matters most.
The spiritual high of Hac naturally fades as you return to daily life, making it crucial to establish a sustainable namaz routine immediately upon returning. Start with the non-negotiable foundation: the five daily farz namazs performed on time. If you were not consistent before Hac, this is the most important change to lock in. Hz. Peygamber (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) said namaz is the first thing a person will be asked about on the Day of Judgment.
Build gradually by adding the 12 regular sunnah namazs (rawatib): 2 before Fajr, 4 before and 2 after Dhuhr, 2 after Maghrib, and 2 after Isha. Then incorporate tahajjud (night namaz) even if it is just two rak'at before Fajr. Maintain the habit of dua after each farz namaz. Pray in congregation at the cami when possible, as it carries 27 times the reward. The key is consistency over intensity — a small amount of worship done regularly is more beloved to Allah than occasional bursts of intense worship that cannot be maintained.
