Tawbah is one of the most emphasized concepts in Kur'an-i Kerim and Sunnah. Allah says: 'O you who believe, repent to Allah with sincere repentance' (66:8). Hz. Peygamber said: 'Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His servant than a person who finds his lost camel in the desert.' Scholars outline conditions for valid tawbah: sincerity (doing it purely for Allah's sake), genuine regret and remorse, immediately stopping the sin, firm intention never to return to it, and if the sin involved another person's rights, restoring those rights or seeking their forgiveness. Hac has a profound connection to tawbah — Hz. Peygamber said: 'Whoever performs Hac and does not commit obscenity or wickedness returns as pure as the day their mother bore them.' Many hacilar view Hac as a complete spiritual reset, making tawbah at Arafat, at the Multazam, and throughout the hac ibadeti.
