Hz. Peygamber (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) designated Dhul-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Medine, al-Juhfah for the people of Sham, Qarn al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. He said: 'These are for them and for anyone who passes through them from other places, intending Hac or Umre. And whoever lives within these boundaries should enter ihram from where they start their journey, and the people of Mekke enter ihram from Mekke.'
