Ji'ranah is a miqat point approximately 25 km northeast of Mekke, famous as the location where Hz. Peygamber Muhammad (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) entered ihram for his Umre after the Battle of Hunayn. Though farther than Taneem, performing Umre from Ji'ranah carries special significance. Travel by taxi takes about 30-40 minutes.
Take a taxi (30-40 minutes, approximately 50-80 SAR) to Ji'ranah, located about 25 km northeast of Mekke. Ji'ranah holds historical significance as where Hz. Peygamber divided the spoils of Hunayn and entered ihram for Umre.
Visit Masjid al-Ji'ranah where Hz. Peygamber entered ihram. Perform gusul or abdest, and change into ihram garments (men). Pray two rak'at.
Make the intention for Umre: 'Labbayk Allahumma Umratan.' Begin the Telbiye. Reflect on following in the footsteps of Hz. Peygamber.

Travel back to Mescid-i Haram reciting the Telbiye. Perform tavaf (7 circuits), pray 2 rak'at, drink Zamzam, then perform Say (7 laps).
After Say, perform halq or taqsir to exit ihram. Your Umre is now complete.
