نبی کریم said: 'There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days.' Allah swears by them in قرآن مجید: 'By the dawn. And by the ten nights.'
## Why These Days Are Special
They encompass all major forms of worship: نماز, fasting, charity, dhikr, and حج. This combination occurs at no other time in the Islamic calendar.
## Recommended Acts of Worship
Fast during the first nine days, especially the 9th (Day of عرفات). Increase dhikr: tahlil, takbir, tahmid, tasbih. Give charity generously. Perform extra نمازs, especially tahajjud.

Fasting the 9th expiates sins of the previous and coming year. Spend the afternoon in intensive دعا.
## Preparing for Qurbani
Do not cut hair or nails from the beginning of Dhul Hijjah until sacrifice is performed.
