اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw rain, he would say: 'Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an' — O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

When it rains, نبی کریم would say: 'Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an' — O Allah, make it a beneficial rain. Rain is a time when دعا is accepted, so حجاج should use this moment to make heartfelt دعائیں during any rainfall in مکہ مکرمہ or مدینہ منورہ.
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an.
Meaning: O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.
Source: Sahih al-Bukhari #1032Rain is a mercy from Allah, and نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) identified it as a time when دعا is accepted. He said: 'Two (دعائیں) are not rejected: دعا at the time of the adhan, and دعا at the time of rain' (al-Hakim, sahih). Scholars recommend exposing part of one's body to the rain, as نبی کریم did, saying it has just come from its Lord.
