Strollers are allowed at the Haram but impractical during peak hours; baby carriers are مستحب for طواف and sa'i due to crowd density.
Strollers are technically permitted inside مسجد الحرام, but their practicality depends heavily on crowd density. During off-peak hours (late night or early morning), strollers are manageable. During peak حج days and busy نماز times, they become very difficult to navigate and may cause inconvenience to other worshippers. Lightweight, foldable strollers are available for purchase or rent from shops in the streets surrounding the Haram.
Many experienced parents recommend baby carriers (front or back carriers) over strollers for طواف and sa'i, as they keep the child secure and close while leaving your hands free. The Haram has nursing rooms and family نماز areas. In منیٰ, strollers are useful within the tent camp area but are impractical for the walk to the جمرات bridge due to the crowds. Plan to carry young children for the more crowded rituals.
