ميزاب الرحمة
The Mizab ar-Rahmah is a prominent golden spout protruding from the northwestern wall of the کعبۃ اللہ, directly above the Hijr Ismail (Hateem). It was installed to channel rainwater from the flat roof of the کعبۃ اللہ. The current spout is made of gold and was installed during Saudi-era renovations. Historically, the spout has been replaced and renovated by various Islamic rulers. When it rains in مکہ مکرمہ — a rare occurrence — حجاج often gather beneath the Mizab to receive the water flowing from the کعبۃ اللہ's roof, considering it blessed. The area directly below the Mizab, within the Hijr Ismail, is considered one of the most virtuous places to pray and make دعا.
