On the 12th of Dhul Hijjah, حجاج stone all three جمرات after Dhuhr (same as the 11th). Those who wish to leave early (ta'ajjul) may depart منیٰ before sunset without needing to stone on the 13th. Before leaving مکہ مکرمہ, every حاجی must perform طواف al-Wida (farewell طواف).
Pray Fajr in منیٰ and prepare 21 pebbles for stoning the three جمرات. Continue reciting the takbirat of Tashreeq after every واجب نماز. Make the intention for whether you will depart today (ta'ajjul) or stay for the optional 13th day of stoning. If you intend to leave today, ensure your belongings are packed so you can depart منیٰ promptly after stoning, before sunset.
After the sun passes its zenith (Dhuhr time), proceed to the جمرات complex. Stone all three pillars in the same order as yesterday: (1) جمرات al-Sughra (small) — 7 pebbles, then stand and make دعا facing Qiblah; (2) جمرات al-Wusta (medium) — 7 pebbles, then stand and make دعا facing Qiblah; (3) جمرات al-Aqabah (large) — 7 pebbles, then depart without stopping for دعا. Say 'Bismillah, Allahu Akbar' with each pebble thrown.
These are the most frequent errors pilgrims make during this stage of Hajj.

After stoning, you have a choice sanctioned by قرآن مجید (Al-Baqarah 2:203). Option A (Ta'ajjul / Hastening): Leave منیٰ before sunset on the 12th. You will NOT need to stone on the 13th. Head directly to مکہ مکرمہ for طواف al-Wida. Option B (Staying): Remain in منیٰ for the night of the 13th and stone all three جمرات one final time the next day. Staying is considered more virtuous by many scholars, as نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) stayed for the 13th.
Before leaving مکہ مکرمہ, every حاجی must perform طواف al-Wida (the farewell طواف). This is 7 circuits around the کعبۃ اللہ, performed in the same manner as any طواف — beginning from the حجر اسود corner, keeping the کعبۃ اللہ on your left. There is no Raml (jogging) or Idtiba' (baring the right shoulder) in طواف al-Wida. There is no سعی after this طواف. After completing the circuits, pray 2 rak'at behind مقام ابراہیم if possible, drink زمزم water, and make your final دعائیں.
After completing طواف al-Wida and praying behind مقام ابراہیم, take a final look at the کعبۃ اللہ and make your most heartfelt دعائیں. Ask Allah to accept your حج, forgive your sins, and grant you the opportunity to return. Depart the Masjid walking backward or looking back at the کعبۃ اللہ as long as you can see it, as was the practice of some of the Salaf. Leave مکہ مکرمہ with a heart full of gratitude, resolved to maintain the spiritual transformation of حج in your daily life.
While not a rite of حج, visiting نبی کریم's Mosque (Al-Masjid al-Nabawi) in مدینہ منورہ is highly مستحب. Many حجاج visit before or after حج. Pray in نبی کریم's Mosque, visit the Rawdah, send salutations upon نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) at his grave, and visit the graveyard of Baqi'. The visit to مدینہ منورہ is a separate act of worship and has no connection to the validity of حج.
