الملتزم
The Multazam is the approximately two-meter section of the کعبۃ اللہ wall between the حجر اسود (Hajar al-Aswad) and the Door of the کعبۃ اللہ. It is a place where دعائیں are believed to be especially accepted. Pilgrims press their chest, face, and hands against this wall while making دعا.
The Multazam has been recognized as a place of accepted دعا since the time of نبی کریم Muhammad (PBUH). Companions such as Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that the area between the corner of the حجر اسود and the door is the Multazam, and that no one makes دعا there except that it is answered. Throughout Islamic history, scholars and حجاج have given special attention to this blessed spot.
The Multazam is considered one of the places where دعا is most readily accepted. The act of clinging to this wall (iltizam) is a practice traced back to the Companions of نبی کریم (PBUH). It represents a moment of intense personal connection with Allah.
Accessing the Multazam directly can be very challenging during busy periods. The best time to reach it is during the last third of the night or just before Fajr. Press your chest, cheek, and palms against the wall and make your most heartfelt دعائیں. If you cannot physically reach the wall, face toward it and make دعا from a distance, as sincerity is what matters most.
