Ji'ranah is a miqat point approximately 25 km northeast of مکہ مکرمہ, famous as the location where نبی کریم Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) entered احرام for his عمرہ after the Battle of Hunayn. Though farther than Taneem, performing عمرہ from Ji'ranah carries special significance. Travel by taxi takes about 30-40 minutes.
Take a taxi (30-40 minutes, approximately 50-80 SAR) to Ji'ranah, located about 25 km northeast of مکہ مکرمہ. Ji'ranah holds historical significance as where نبی کریم divided the spoils of Hunayn and entered احرام for عمرہ.
Visit Masjid al-Ji'ranah where نبی کریم entered احرام. Perform غسل or وضو, and change into احرام garments (men). Pray two rak'at.
