After completing الطواف, pray two ركعةs behind مقام إبراهيم, reciting the verse: 'Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla' — Take the station of Ibrahim as a place of الصلاة. In the first ركعة recite Surah Al-Kafirun and in the second recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, following النبي's السنة.
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
Meaning: And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of الصلاة.
Source: Al-Baqarah (2:125)Jabir reported in his description of النبي's الحج: 'When النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) completed الطواف, he came to مقام إبراهيم and recited: Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla. He then prayed two ركعةs with مقام إبراهيم between him and the الكعبة, reciting Surah Al-Kafirun and Surah Al-Ikhlas.' (صحيح مسلم 1218). This الصلاة at مقام إبراهيم connects the الحاج directly to the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim.
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.
