اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw rain, he would say: 'Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an' — O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

When it rains, নবী করীম would say: 'Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an' — O Allah, make it a beneficial rain. Rain is a time when dua is accepted, so হাজীগণ should use this moment to make heartfelt দোয়াs during any rainfall in মক্কা মুকাররমা or মদীনা মুনাওয়ারা.
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allahumma sayyiban nafi'an.
Meaning: O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.
Source: Sahih al-Bukhari #1032Rain is a mercy from Allah, and নবী করীম (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) identified it as a time when dua is accepted. He said: 'Two (duas) are not rejected: dua at the time of the adhan, and dua at the time of rain' (al-Hakim, sahih). Scholars recommend exposing part of one's body to the rain, as নবী করীম did, saying it has just come from its Lord.
