Prioritize the five daily সালাতs on time, add the 12 sunnah rawatib সালাতs, incorporate tahajjud gradually, and pray in congregation whenever possible — consistency matters most.
The spiritual high of হজ্জ naturally fades as you return to daily life, making it crucial to establish a sustainable সালাত routine immediately upon returning. Start with the non-negotiable foundation: the five daily ওয়াজিব সালাতs performed on time. If you were not consistent before হজ্জ, this is the most important change to lock in. নবী করীম (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) said সালাত is the first thing a person will be asked about on the Day of Judgment.
Build gradually by adding the 12 regular sunnah সালাতs (rawatib): 2 before Fajr, 4 before and 2 after Dhuhr, 2 after Maghrib, and 2 after Isha. Then incorporate tahajjud (night সালাত) even if it is just two rak'at before Fajr. Maintain the habit of dua after each ওয়াজিব সালাত. Pray in congregation at the মসজিদ when possible, as it carries 27 times the reward. The key is consistency over intensity — a small amount of worship done regularly is more beloved to Allah than occasional bursts of intense worship that cannot be maintained.
