Masjid Quba is the first মসজিদ ever built in Islam, constructed by নবী করীম upon his arrival in মদীনা মুনাওয়ারা. নবী করীম used to visit every Saturday and pray two rak'ahs there. He also said: 'Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Quba and prays in it, he will have the reward of an উমরাহ.'
Masjid Quba is about 3.5 kilometers south of নবী করীম's Mosque, easily accessible by taxi, bus, or foot. The মসজিদ has been expanded and modernized with beautiful white marble architecture and ample facilities.
