Shorten 4-rak'ah সালাতs to 2 as a traveler, combine সালাতs at আরাফাত (Dhuhr+Asr) and মুযদালিফা (Maghrib+Isha), pray in tents at মিনা, and carry a সালাত mat at all times.
The সালাত obligations during হজ্জ are the same for men and women. As a traveler, you shorten the 4-rak'ah সালাতs (Dhuhr, Asr, and Isha) to 2 rak'ahs each. Fajr (2 rak'ahs) and Maghrib (3 rak'ahs) are not shortened. The specific সালাত combinations during হজ্জ are: at আরাফাত, combine Dhuhr and Asr at Dhuhr time; at মুযদালিফা, combine Maghrib and Isha at Isha time.
During the days at মিনা, women typically pray in their tent camps. Women's sections are designated within the camp areas. Praying in congregation is মুস্তাহাব but not ওয়াজিব for women — if the crowd or circumstances make it difficult to reach the সালাত area, praying individually in your tent is perfectly valid. Carry a compact, clean সালাত mat at all times — you may need to pray in unexpected locations.
Menstruating women are completely exempted from সালাত during their period and do NOT need to make up missed সালাতs. This is a mercy from Allah and should not cause guilt or distress. Menstruating women may still make dua, dhikr, and engage in remembrance of Allah throughout the হজ্জ — they are only exempted from the formal salah and তাওয়াফ.
Practical tips: download a সালাত time app or use ইহরামOS for accurate সালাত times at each হজ্জ location. Know the Qiblah direction at each site (it shifts as you move between locations). Wear clothing that allows comfortable prostration without adjustment issues. Keep a small অযু water bottle for performing ablution when facilities are distant. In extremely crowded situations, you may pray standing or sitting if prostration is not safely possible.
