Qarn al-Manazil is one of the five Miqat stations designated by নবী করীম Muhammad (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম). It serves হাজীগণ coming from central Arabia, including those traveling from Riyadh, Taif, and the broader Najd region. The modern town of Al-Sayl al-Kabeer marks this Miqat, featuring a মসজিদ and facilities for হাজীগণ to perform Ghusl and change into ইহরাম garments. Being one of the nearest Miqat points to মক্কা মুকাররমা, it is heavily used by Saudi residents and Gulf visitors traveling overland. Pilgrims arriving at Taif's airport also use this Miqat. The area is mountainous, situated in the Sarawat mountain range, and historically served as a resting point on the caravan route between Najd and the Hejaz.
