Masjid al-Khayf is a historic মসজিদ in the southern part of মিনা, at the foot of a mountain. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed here during his Farewell হজ্জ, and tradition holds that 70 prophets prayed in this location. The মসজিদ has been expanded to accommodate over 25,000 worshippers during হজ্জ season.
Masjid al-Khayf is one of the most historically significant মসজিদs in the হজ্জ region. নবী করীম Muhammad (PBUH) prayed here during his Farewell হজ্জ. A hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas states that 70 prophets prayed in this মসজিদ, making it a place of immense barakah (blessing). The মসজিদ is named 'al-Khayf' because it is situated on the slope (khayf) of the mountain. It has been renovated and expanded by the Saudi government to serve as one of the main সালাত facilities in মিনা.
