The Multazam is the approximately two-meter section of the কাবা শরীফ wall between the হাজরে আসওয়াদ (Hajar al-Aswad) and the Door of the কাবা শরীফ. It is a place where দোয়াs are believed to be especially accepted. Pilgrims press their chest, face, and hands against this wall while making dua.
The Multazam has been recognized as a place of accepted দোয়া since the time of নবী করীম Muhammad (PBUH). Companions such as Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that the area between the corner of the হাজরে আসওয়াদ and the door is the Multazam, and that no one makes dua there except that it is answered. Throughout Islamic history, scholars and হাজীগণ have given special attention to this blessed spot.
The Multazam is considered one of the places where dua is most readily accepted. The act of clinging to this wall (iltizam) is a practice traced back to the Companions of নবী করীম (PBUH). It represents a moment of intense personal connection with Allah.
Accessing the Multazam directly can be very challenging during busy periods. The best time to reach it is during the last third of the night or just before Fajr. Press your chest, cheek, and palms against the wall and make your most heartfelt duas. If you cannot physically reach the wall, face toward it and make dua from a distance, as sincerity is what matters most.
