إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ. لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
In his description of the Prophet's Hajj, Jabir said: 'Then he (the Prophet) walked towards Marwa, and when his feet touched the ground at Marwa, he recited: Innas-Safa wal-Marwata min sha'a'irillah. He did at Marwa as he had done at Safa (facing the Kaaba, making dhikr and dua).'
