Multazam(المُلْتَزَم) The Multazam is the section of the کعبۃ اللہ wall between the حجر اسود corner and the کعبۃ اللہ door. Pilgrims cling to this wall while making earnest دعائیں, and it is regarded as a place where نمازs are accepted.
المُلْتَزَم
The Multazam is approximately two meters of the eastern wall of the کعبۃ اللہ, stretching from the Hajar al-Aswad to the door of the کعبۃ اللہ. The practice at the Multazam involves the حاجی pressing their chest, cheeks, and forearms against the wall while making sincere دعا (دعا) to Allah. This practice is established from the Sunnah of نبی کریم Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and his companions, including Abdullah ibn Abbas, who described it as a place where دعا is not rejected. The companions would press themselves against this wall, spreading their arms, making their most heartfelt requests. Due to crowds, accessing the Multazam can be extremely difficult during حج season. Some scholars suggest that the Multazam دعا is best done after طواف al-Wida (farewell طواف) as the حاجی's final act at the کعبۃ اللہ. Others hold that any time is acceptable. The Multazam is not a rukn (pillar) of حج or عمرہ, but a highly مستحب act.
