Multazam(المُلْتَزَم) The Multazam is the section of the কাবা শরীফ wall between the হাজরে আসওয়াদ corner and the কাবা শরীফ door. Pilgrims cling to this wall while making earnest দোয়াs, and it is regarded as a place where সালাতs are accepted.
المُلْتَزَم
The Multazam is approximately two meters of the eastern wall of the কাবা শরীফ, stretching from the Hajar al-Aswad to the door of the কাবা শরীফ. The practice at the Multazam involves the হাজী pressing their chest, cheeks, and forearms against the wall while making sincere dua (দোয়া) to Allah. This practice is established from the Sunnah of নবী করীম Muhammad (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) and his companions, including Abdullah ibn Abbas, who described it as a place where dua is not rejected. The companions would press themselves against this wall, spreading their arms, making their most heartfelt requests. Due to crowds, accessing the Multazam can be extremely difficult during হজ্জ season. Some scholars suggest that the Multazam দোয়া is best done after তাওয়াফ al-Wida (farewell তাওয়াফ) as the হাজী's final act at the কাবা শরীফ. Others hold that any time is acceptable. The Multazam is not a rukn (pillar) of হজ্জ or উমরাহ, but a highly মুস্তাহাব act.
