مسجد قباء
Masjid Quba holds the distinction of being the very first মসজিদ in Islamic history. When নবী করীম Muhammad (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) migrated from মক্কা মুকাররমা to মদীনা মুনাওয়ারা in 622 CE, he stopped first at the village of Quba, where he laid the foundation of this মসজিদ. Allah mentions it in আল-কুরআন: 'A মসজিদ founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in' (9:108), which many scholars interpret as referring to Masjid Quba. নবী করীম used to visit Masjid Quba every Saturday, sometimes walking and sometimes riding. He said: 'Whoever makes অযু at home then comes to Masjid Quba and prays there, he will have a reward like that of উমরাহ' (Sunan an-Nasa'i). The মসজিদ has been expanded significantly over the centuries and now covers a large area with modern facilities. Visiting Masjid Quba is highly মুস্তাহাব for হাজীগণ in মদীনা মুনাওয়ারা and is typically included in the মদীনা মুনাওয়ারা ziyarah program.
