Moroccan pilgrims are native Arabic speakers (Darija) and can communicate effectively in Saudi Arabia, though dialect differences exist. Morocco follows the Maliki madhab predominantly, and the ministry provides madhab-specific guidance. Moroccan dirham can be exchanged at banks before departure. The climate in northern Morocco is milder than Makkah, so heat acclimatization is important. Moroccan cuisine differs from Saudi food, and pilgrims should be prepared for dietary adjustment.
