Jannat al-Baqi is the most famous Islamic cemetery, located adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque. It contains the graves of many companions, wives, and family members of the Prophet, including Uthman ibn Affan and Hasan ibn Ali. The Prophet used to regularly visit and make dua for its inhabitants.
Visiting hours for men are typically after Fajr and Asr prayers. When visiting, recite the prescribed dua: 'Peace be upon you, O people of the dwellings among the believers and Muslims. Indeed, if Allah wills, we will be joining you. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you.'
Maintain a respectful, quiet demeanor. Do not walk over graves, lean on tombstones, or sit on burial plots. Photography is strictly prohibited. Do not make dua to the deceased but rather to Allah for them. Keep your visit brief and orderly during busy periods.
