Individual pilgrims can contribute to environmental sustainability during Hajj. Use a reusable water bottle and refill from Zamzam dispensers rather than consuming single-use plastic bottles. Minimize food waste by taking only what you will eat. Dispose of all waste properly — do not leave litter at the holy sites. Use shared transport when possible rather than individual taxis. Consider carbon offsetting your flight through a reputable program.
