Ji'ranah is a miqat point approximately 25 km northeast of Makkah, famous as the location where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered ihram for his Umrah after the Battle of Hunayn. Though farther than Taneem, performing Umrah from Ji'ranah carries special significance. Travel by taxi takes about 30-40 minutes.
Take a taxi (30-40 minutes, approximately 50-80 SAR) to Ji'ranah, located about 25 km northeast of Makkah. Ji'ranah holds historical significance as where the Prophet divided the spoils of Hunayn and entered ihram for Umrah.
Visit Masjid al-Ji'ranah where the Prophet entered ihram. Perform ghusl or wudu, and change into ihram garments (men). Pray two rak'at.
Make the intention for Umrah: 'Labbayk Allahumma Umratan.' Begin the Talbiyah. Reflect on following in the footsteps of the Prophet.

Travel back to Masjid al-Haram reciting the Talbiyah. Perform tawaf (7 circuits), pray 2 rak'at, drink Zamzam, then perform Sa'i (7 laps).
After Sa'i, perform halq or taqsir to exit ihram. Your Umrah is now complete.
