## What Is IhramOS?
IhramOS is a comprehensive Android application serving as your complete pilgrimage companion for Hajj and Umrah. The name combines Ihram — the sacred state every pilgrim enters — with OS (Operating System).
## The Offline-First Difference
Every existing pilgrim app requires internet connectivity for core features. During Hajj, when two million people overwhelm networks, these apps become useless. IhramOS stores all data locally using an embedded SQLite database.
## GPS-Triggered Ritual Guidance
GPS geofencing detects when you enter key locations and automatically surfaces relevant instructions, duas, and guidance specific to your location and madhab.
## Automatic Ritual Counters
The tawaf counter uses GPS and accelerometer sensor fusion to count your circuits. The sa'i counter tracks laps between Safa and Marwah. Both allow manual adjustment.
## Comprehensive Dua Library
Over 100 duas with Arabic text in Uthmani script, transliteration, audio recitation, and translations in five languages. Organized by ritual stage with GPS auto-surfacing.
## Health and Safety Features
Hydration tracking with smart reminders, heat index alerts, step counting, encrypted medical card, one-tap SOS, and group radar for tracking companions.
