Between the Yemeni Corner (Rukn al-Yamani) and the Black Stone during Tawaf, pilgrims recite: 'Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar' — O our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. This is from Quran 2:201.
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar.
Meaning: Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Source: Sunan Abu Dawud #1892Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to frequently make this supplication. It is also a Quranic dua from Surah al-Baqarah (2:201), combining the best of this world and the Hereafter in a single comprehensive supplication.
