توبة
Tawbah is one of the most emphasized concepts in the Quran and Sunnah. Allah says: 'O you who believe, repent to Allah with sincere repentance' (66:8). The Prophet said: 'Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His servant than a person who finds his lost camel in the desert.' Scholars outline conditions for valid tawbah: sincerity (doing it purely for Allah's sake), genuine regret and remorse, immediately stopping the sin, firm intention never to return to it, and if the sin involved another person's rights, restoring those rights or seeking their forgiveness. Hajj has a profound connection to tawbah — the Prophet said: 'Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit obscenity or wickedness returns as pure as the day their mother bore them.' Many pilgrims view Hajj as a complete spiritual reset, making tawbah at Arafat, at the Multazam, and throughout the pilgrimage.
