After completing Tawaf, pray two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim, reciting the verse: 'Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla' — Take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. In the first rak'ah recite Surah Al-Kafirun and in the second recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, following the Prophet's Sunnah.
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
Meaning: And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.
Source: Al-Baqarah (2:125)Jabir reported in his description of the Prophet's Hajj: 'When the Prophet (peace be upon him) completed Tawaf, he came to Maqam Ibrahim and recited: Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla. He then prayed two rak'ahs with Maqam Ibrahim between him and the Kaaba, reciting Surah Al-Kafirun and Surah Al-Ikhlas.' (Sahih Muslim 1218). This prayer at Maqam Ibrahim connects the pilgrim directly to the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim.
